PHP Project Solution Explorer
Hello,
Another issue/finding in the solution explorer while in PHP Project:
It doesnt seem to be possible to copy/paste a file in the same directory.
In a C# Class Library project, I can select a file, copy and paste and that results in a new file 'Copy of <fileName>'.
The same goes for dragging and dropping a file in the explorer from one folder to another.
Any thoughts?
Paul

Re: PHP Project Solution Explorer
Jakub,
thanks for the quick action! Much appreciated!
I installed and tested. Drag and drop seems to work ... thanks!
I didn't get the Copy and paste in the same folder to work.
First thing I did try to find out which version of php tools is actually installed, to check if I'm actually using the new version ... where can I find the version number in VS? I looked in the VS Studio -> Help -> PHP Tools for Visual Studio ... It shows I'm using the professional edition, but not which version number. Maybe a fix as well?
I'm certain now that I'm using the latest, since drag and drop do work ...

Re: PHP Project Solution Explorer
You are right - version number is not in Help -> PHP Tools for Visual Studio yet - we will definitely add this.
For know, the version of your extensions in general can be found in Tools -> Extensions and Updates OR in Help -> About Microsoft Visual Studio
Copy&Paste in the same folder behaves like drag&dropping (Moving) ... so it doesn't do anything within the same folder. Drag&Drop while holding Ctrl key do the thing for now.
Thanks, we will keep improving this.

Re: PHP Project Solution Explorer
Knowing this (dragging and dropping to do copy and paste in same directory), it is a very workable solution. Not very intuitive though ... one would expect CTRL-C and CTRL-V , but I assume you know that.
Thanks for the pointer!! I'll go dragging and dropping
