Handler "Phalanger" has a bad module "ManagedPipelineHandler

Postby jcomet » July 25th, 2012, 11:46 pm

I am new to Phalanger. I am having difficulty getting Phalanger to work on my Windows 7 x64 box. Can not seem to get past this error:

Handler "Phalanger" has a bad module "ManagedPipelineHandler" in its module list

I'd appreciate any guidance you could give.

Hi,
Yes, this is common issue.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6846 ... managedpip

In most cases it is caused by installing .NET 4 before IIS.

For other, run following command (x86, x64):
Code: Select all
%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -i
Code: Select all
%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -i
