"Visual" PHP?

Dear Phalanger developers,

I am inquiring into the possibility of bring "visual php" into the world. If there already is Visual Studio integration, why does it not support the creation of windows forms? It'd be really cool if we can finally fully code desktop applications with php. Let me know if this is even possible. =)

Hi,
we already have integration with Visual Studio (althrough it is a beta version) and you can create Windows Forms applications with Phalanger - you can find example in the Samples/WinForms directory after installing the Phalanger. You can't use WinForms designer with Phalanger currently, because this is difficult to implement and we want to focus on finishing the core first.
