Session enabling in Phalanger

Hi,

I'm starting to tryout phalanger v1.0 and my first attempt was a copy of drupal 6.0 which I already have running against apache and php 5.x
The error I get is:
sessionname(): Function is not supported in D:\down\cms\drupal-6.0\includes\bootstrap.inc at expression on line 339, column 3.

which I understand would be solved if I could configure phalanger to use sessions as I did in PHP 5.1.x
Will I solve this if I try v2.0?
