Implementing missing json_encode function

Postby TimBailey99@codeplex » June 15th, 2009, 10:56 am

Hi all,

Hope somebody reads this...its a bit quiet in here.....

I'm tring to use phalanger in our company, but having a few problems with missing functionality.....the first is json_encode, so I've got the latest source, got it all compiling, added a new class, decorated it with the attibribute to expose it to php.

All is working fine, except I need to be able to tell the difference between a associative array and a vector array, so that i can render the json as an array or object accordingly.

I've nicked the code from here (http://nz2.php.net/manual/en/function.json-encode.php#89908) to help me figure out if the array is associative or not, surely I should be able to tell from the passed in object somehow?

I *REALLY* want to use phalanger to instead of PHP, but the lack of responces on here and activity on the SVN makes me a little nervous.

I can send the class to whoever wants it.....

Cheers
Tim
