When I tried to use Phalanger 3.0 I got an error message saying that they'd been built with a more recent .NET Framework version. The version displayed on the error page was .NET Framework v2.0, which was why I dropped down. Phalanger 2.0 (April 2011) seemed to be the latest one to still support .NET 2.0.

Maybe you have to set Application Pool to .NET 4 ... .NET 2 is the default selection on IIS Web Server.

Thanks Jakub. As mentioned on this thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=518&p=1899#p1899 I've managed to get back to Phalanger 3.0, but now I'm having a similar problem to the one originally stated here, though for me it's php5ts.dll that's causing the problem.

I've managed to resolve that problem now. It was the MSVCRT problem again :)

Just an update: It's possible to deploy application depending on Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable without need of installing it. Just put "msvcr100.dll" and "msvcp100.dll" into the same directory as php4ts.dll/php5ts.dll. To make sure .NET Assembly loader doesn't try to load this assembly itself (it won't succeded if PATH doesn't specify this dir) just put it to some other directory than Bin, e.g. Bin/ext with these dependency libraries and native extensions you require. Than Phalanger will try to load everything itself if the path is properly specified in <phpNet><paths><set name="ExtNatives" value=".\bin\ext"/> configuration

This solution works wonderfully! Ill see if I can put something up about this on your wiki or maybe a blog to make sure people who are looking for a solution to this can find the solution :)
