Piwik not working due to disable-spl
The compatibility page said to let you know if things work or not... Piwik won't start due to spl (whatever that is :) Quote:
"Piwik and Zend Framework require the SPL extension
It appears your PHP was compiled with
--disable-spl"

RE: Piwik not working due to disable-spl
Thanks! There are some missing functions in Phalanger that are on plan currently. Piwik will be fully running when these functions will be implemented.

Re: Piwik not working due to disable-spl
Hi,
According to the release notes on the wiki a SPL extension should be available.
However I still get the same error message.
Do you have any info on how to run PIWIK on phalanger?
regards,
JamBo

Re: Piwik not working due to disable-spl
Jakub,
It tests for:
if(!class_exists('ArrayObject'))
{
...display error
I can circumvent this - just commenting this out will work. Have to solve other errors now.
Thnx for the reply,
JamBo

Thanks!
SPL is almost implemented, only ArrayObject and few other classes are missing.
Once ArrayObject will be implemented, Piwik should work out-of-box.. maybe with few additional fixes.

Re: Piwik not working due to disable-spl
jakub,
I would really appreciate if you could validate PIWIK working with phalanger.
I can't get it to work.
- checkdnsrr method not supported (and some 'Mandatory parameter '' declared behind optional parameter' errors which are easy to fix)
commenting checkdnsrr references compiles, but it won't work.
The reason for using phalanger is my limited knowledge of PHP.
But getting PIWIK to work would be a great solution to the dependency on google for web analytics.
Keep up the great work,
JamBo

Re: Piwik not working due to disable-spl
using unsupported checkdnsrr() and 'Mandatory parameter' only causes compile-time warnings.
