GetText extension spin-out possibility?
Posted: March 19th, 2015, 9:06 pmI'd like to gather other people's thoughts on the following idea (just in case my suggestion is silly, so that if it is I can be chastised and put-in-my-place :-p)
I've just had a look through the GetText extension which seems to include it's own bespoke GetText parser which then marshals into more PHP-specific extension code. I'm thinking it might be an idea to spin the non-PHP-specific parts out (with a bit of work done to make it more useful for other people) into it's own project/repo so that the wider .net community can benefit from a self-contained fully-managed GetText library. We would then utilise this new project by depending on it from the Extension.GetText project (via nuget).
