PHP code to call c# functions

Postby ShwetaS13 » July 24th, 2014, 3:15 am

Hi all!
I am currently working on a canteen application for a company.
The project involves the employees swiping their cards on an input card reader which is hosted on a machine. This card reader then reads the access card number of the employee and with the help of this number the respective record of the employee is queried and retrieved from the LDAP server and this entry is then stored in a local database.

I have designed the project in such a way that there would be an html page with a button saying 'start application'. On clicking this button the c# code for reading the card details should be called and the details should be retrieved from the LDAP server and stored in a local database (php code). As and when more and more employees swipe their cards, this should repeatedly happen.

The program for reading the card details from the card using the input card reader is written in c# language and the rest of the it is written in php code.
Is this possible?

Yes, you have to migrate the PHP application to Phalanger.
