Renaming Files with VisualSVN

Postby captaincrash » February 22nd, 2013, 10:48 am

Hi guys - me again sorry. Now working with my large projects using the phpproj type at full speed however I think I've come across a compatibility issue with VisualSVN.

Every time I try and rename a file a get an error '1 items were not renamed due to errors. Please see Output window for details.' - in the output window (from VisualSVN) I see 'There is already a versioned item 'c:\....blah', with blah being the destination file name I was trying to rename to.

Looking at the file system, the file definitely doesn't exist. As before, I use VisualSVN with lots of other project types without a problem leading me to believe it's to do with the phpproj type.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

Thanks for reporting. I'll create a test environment with this extension to replicate the behaviour you've explained. I'll notify you about progress. If it's a bug (it looks like one) we would fix it for the next minor update.

Thanks again!

Great! Any chance of a Beta with this in? I'm restarting VS every five minutes at the moment :(
