The 1.29.10958 and 1.29.10964 versions of this extension are completely unusable right now.

If you try to open any solution with a .phpproj at all, you get the

"Microsoft Visual Studio is Busy"

message and visual studio hangs hard. You have to kill it via task manager, then uninstall and go back to the 1.29.10925 version of the extension.

This is pretty annoying. I've also had to turn off auto-updating of the extension to keep from hard locking visual studio.

I also have the same problem. Thank you for your workaround. You saved me.
This fault should be fixed as soon as possible.

Was this issue fixed or should I just go with the 1.29.10925 version from the get-go?
