(done) Will PHP Tools work with VS 2015 & PHP 5.4 ?

Will PHP Tools work with Visual Studio Community 2015 and PHP 5.4? I cannot update the PHP at this time as this is for a legacy project. When I attempted install of PHP Tools into VS it wanted to install PHP 7. Did I miss something? Do I need XDebug installed with the PHP first?

VS 2015 Community and PHP 5.4 is supported. Please feel free to try the trial version
