File drag and drop creates a copy of the file

Postby jurva » May 19th, 2017, 1:22 pm

Dear Sir/Madam,

Why is PHP Tools making a copy of the file dragged to the solution, instead of a link to the original file?

In addition, the context menu command Add Existing Item... in the solution panel does not create a link even when "Add as Link" is selected from the Add dialog. In fact, I would prefer to create a link by default.

This seems to be a problem if you do not select PHP Web Project for Microsoft Platforms when you create a new project (i.e., probably PHP Web Project included – not tested every one).
