Embedded variables not color coding closing brace-1.20.9086

When I use an embedded variable in a string literal, prior to updating to this current version, it would color highlight both the opening and closing braces.

Imagine something like this:

$myvar = "Some text {$variable}";

Since updating, the closing brace is no longer being color coded correctly and is taking the color of the string rather than an embedded variable like it was in the past.

My prior version was from the 1.19.8647.
My current version is 1.20.9086.
