External JavaScript but not Local
I am having trouble getting the latest release to break on JavaScript. It will break when the JavaScript is in an external file but not when its local.
The JavaScript runs the same in either case - it just won't breakpoint on local JavaScript.
VS 2012 update 4

More information.
It turns out that if I move the JavaScript above a set of PHP then the breakpoint works. If below the breakpoint fails.
The JavaScript itself works fine in either place.
The PHP code is the setup of a database grid (KoolPHPGrid).
Is this any help?

Hi James,
Thanks for the post and sharing your findings with us. I can confirm it behaves as you've described. We're going to discuss this directly with Microsoft as they own javascript debugger. We'll be notifying on this thread as soon as we know more.
Thanks!

Re: External JavaScript but not Local
I moved back to IE 10 from IE 11 with no improvement.
Am I the only one that is having this problem?
What am I doing different than everyone else?

Re: External JavaScript but not Local
I don't think you are doing something wrong. There will be some issue with mapping javascript breakpoints from server code to generated code which runs in the browser. That's why there's no problem in the begining of the script or in js only files.
We're just discussing this with guys from Microsoft. I'll be informing about progress.
Thanks
