On my parents' slow internet it also works beautifully.
This version has a different color scheme tho. I'm not a fan of the new variable default color and the php tag color.

About the colors... We haven't changed any default color settings lately. What colors do you see there? Screen would be great.

The background of the <?php and ?> was yellow. I already fixed it in my settings. (this was on the dark theme). I made it the same as the window background. (So it's only red text)

Yes, I think the default for sever side script start/end tags in VS are yellow for dark theme. But of course you can modify everything according to your liking:)
