Publish fail
When I publish my project it says:
------ Publish started: Project: dislabel.ru, Configuration: Debug Any CPU -----
>Connecting to 2.comfort.z8.ru...
>Publish failed: /www/site2/public_html: File exists (550).
========== Publish: 0 succeeded, 1 failed, 0 skipped ==========
I set 'Delete all all existing files proir to publish' but it doesn't help. Any idea?

Re: Publish fail
Hi!
Do you still have the issue? I'm thinking of the reasons why it shows 550 error. Does the ftp user has required permission to delete the files?
Thanks

Re: Publish fail
Hi!
Yes, I have. Ftp user has required permissions, so I can manipulate files through some ftp-client like WinSCP.
May be I fill wrong 'Site path' option? Because if I fill in non existing folder, error is the same: 550 File exist.

Re: Publish fail
I am getting a publish failure also; however, my error is associated with the port number. When I try to validate the link it says Invalid Port specified. I am able to access using FileZilla with no problems.
Specifying...
Publish Method: FTP
Server: x.x.x.x:yy (where x.x.x.x is IP address and yy is port)
Site Path: /my/path
Security: none
Use Passive Mode (checked)
User/Password specified
Thanks,
Steve Keller

Re: Publish fail
Hi there,
I'll send you (through private message) ftp test client with verbose information about connection so we might be able to determine what is going on.
Thanks!

Re: Publish fail
Ftp-clent you sent me works without any troubles.
Initial publishing to empty folder succeeds, but secondary publishing fails with error "Directory not empty (550)". 'Delete all all existing files proir to publish' flag doesn't help.
ver. 1.13.5282
PS Solution now loads significantly faster. Thanks )

Re: Publish fail
Does this have a definite solution? Or is this fixed?
I get the same error. (Note this is server specific, the server uses default DirectAdmin install an other server with cPanel does not have this problem.)
And files in the root end up being 0 bytes site on the remote.
Using FTPeS.
Can it be that this has something to do with the trailing slash for directory paths?

Re: Publish fail
I would like to add that this issue does not occur when using SSL. (FileZilla does not have this problem)
