VS crashes when breakpoint hit.

Postby lstanczyk » December 10th, 2013, 10:56 pm

I have updated to 1.9.4839.2012
Running xdebug 2.2.3 on a remote machine, tunneling port 9000 back to me.

Debugging used to work no problem and suddenly yesterday VS would crash when hitting a breakpoint. I am attaching MXL log from my VS 2012.

I am pushing a deadline on my project and would appreciate quick response.
Thank you in advance.

Let me just add that it would crash even before update to new version of PHP tools. I used to be on 1.8.4704 and it still would happen!

Writing extensions for Phalanger is much easier than for PHP. You can use any .NET language, INCLUDING PHP ITSELF!

@Rabi - that does not answer my question.

Hello Lukasz,

We're taking a look into it right now. Could you please send us the file where the issue happens?

The file is attached. Regardless where you set the breakpoint it crashes.
I have checked my php code for the whole project and there are no PHP parsing issues (i did find . -name \*.php -exec php -l {} \; | grep -v "No syntax errors")
