Incorrect error reporting
I am using a trial version of PHP Tools in Visual Studio 2013. When I first created a project I had problems with errors being reported that were not really errors. I deleted the project and re-created it using existing code (Which I had done incorrectly the first time) and things were working correctly for me. I updated to the new version of PHP Tools and now I am seeing the same problem again. I am sure it is not related to the new version as I saw the problem before. I tried deleting my Visual Studio project files and creating new ones but that made no difference. I uninstalled and re-installed PHP Tools, deleted and recreated my Visual Studio project files and that still made no difference. PHP Tools is reporting several errors that it was not reporting before.
Even comments are reported as errors. In the example below, the first /** and * at the beginning of every line is reported as an error. These were reported when things were working correctly for me.
Is there a way I can fix this so items that aren't really errors don't get reported?
I have uploaded a screen shot of one of my files so you can see what it looks like.
Thanks,
Jerry.

- Code: Select all
<?php
/**
* @file
* Default theme implementation to present all user profile data.
*
* This template is used when viewing a registered member's profile page,
* e.g., example.com/user/123. 123 being the users ID.

Re: Incorrect error reporting
Thank you for the feedback! May I ask if you take a look in Error List window, what is the description of the error?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Re: Incorrect error reporting
I completely deleted my project directory and my project. I checked out my code and re-created my Visual Studio project and now the errors don't show up any more. If I see them again, I will add more information.
I guess for now you can close this report.

Re: Incorrect error reporting
Hi, this seems to be related to another extension you probably have. I'm guessing ReSharper?
