Publish Single File

Postby bulljustin » July 5th, 2013, 7:00 pm

I just installed PHP Tools - trying to find something better than VS.PHP. So far I like it very much, it loads much quicker than VS.PHP did, and the inline javascript works much better.

One thing I could do in VS.PHP that I cannot seem to to figure out is how to copy a single file to the server. VS.PHP allows the user to highlight one or more files and then right-click->Deploy and it would copy just the selected files up to the live server.

I have tried to "publish", but I can only publish an entire project. If I'm in the middle of a large update to a site and an immediate need for a quick fix comes up, then how would I just update the one or two files that need it without also uploaded all the files I am working on that are probably not ready to upload yet?

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestion. We'll take a look and plan it to some release.
