New install, custom server, no debugging :(
Hello,
am trying to get your plugin to debug a wordpress site, but I cannot seem to get the debugger to work.
Everything is saying it should be working. I am using VS2010, IIS7, custom webserver, port 8700 (and php.info is saying the same as I have a tonne of other .net websites running on different ports).
Can you help?
Colin

Hi Colin,
Thanks for contacting us.
Have you checked that XDebug port setup in PHP Tools match with your PHP runtime (default is 9000).
phpinfo() output is showing XDebug extension?

Re: New install, custom server, no debugging :(
hello, thanks for the help. This is what is in my php.ini file:
[XDEBUG]
xdebug.remote_enable = on
xdebug.remote_handler = dbgp
xdebug.remote_host = 127.0.0.1
xdebug.remote_port = 8700
xdebug.remote_mode = req
xdebug.idekey="php-vs"
[PHP_XDEBUG-2.2.1-5.4-VC9-NTS]
zend_extension="C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\ext\php_xdebug-2.2.2-5.4-vc9-nts.dll"
And yes I have this in my phpinfo()
xdebug
xdebug support enabled
Version 2.2.2
IDE Key php-vs
Am trying to debug a wordpress site if that makes a difference?

No, it's all the same.
Settings seems to be ok, just make sure that xdebug.remote_port setting is the same as in PHP Tools options (Visual Studio Tools – Options – PHP tools – Advanced).

Could my version of visual studio be wrong? Visual Studio 2010 Premium.

All the visual studio 2010 editions are supported except Express.
Could you try stop the debugging, exit the PHP Tools Debugger Systray. Maybe restart Vs to be sure and then try it again?
Do you have PHP project opened? When you press F5 what do you see in output window?

Small utility that should pop out when you press F5.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Nope that doesn't popup when VS starts debugging. How would I install that?
I installed PHP.VS.vsix and that was all. Was there something else I should have installed?
