There is an updated preview 1.15 that lowers the CPU usage.

Ahem... I am not sure if PHP Tools actually did anything, cuz I didn't see the processor running at all, got distracted for a second and then it was on 0%. If that is the result of your optimization, then WOW!
Currently I don't see any performance problems, so I'm off checking how your code analysis is coping with my code
