Coloring variables with VS2010 Phalanger Tools

Is there any way to enable that $ variables would be displayed in another color or font style? I'm having some difficulties working with PHP variables in a multilanguage solution, and I sometimes miss the $ prefix. Then I get an undefined constant notice...
